How To Install

This page will show you how to install plugin presets and VST/AU plugins.

How to install Omnisphere patches:

  1. Locate your Spectrasonics folder.
  2. Click on the STEAM folder.
  3. Click on Settings Library folder.
  4. Click on Patches folder.
  5. Click on User folder.
  6. Drag the folder you downloaded into User.
  7. Now open up Omnisphere
  8. Make sure your directory is set to All.
  9. Locate the folder you downloaded
  10. Have fun!

How to install Spire presets:

  1. Open an instance of Spire.
  2. Click on Spire’s Menu button.
  3. Choose Import Bank from the list of options.
  4. Find and select the soundbankname.sbf files (available multi­-selection).
  5. Click on Spire’s Menu button and select the Select Bank option from the list to see all imported sound banks.

How to install Massive presets:

  1. Locate your Native Instruments Massive sounds folder.
  2. Click on the sounds folder.
  3. Drop the preset bank in that folder.
  4. Open your DAW then open massive.
  5. Click Browse in the Massive VST.
  6. Look for the folder name & click on it.
  7. Now you can use the sounds.

How to install Serum presets:

  1. Open Serum
  2. Go To Menu
  3. Click “Show Serum Presets Folder”
  4. Copy & Paste Your Folder Into “Presets”
  5. Quit & Re-Open Serum
  6. Done!

How to install Electra X presets:

  1. Locate your Electra sounds folder.
  2. Drop the preset bank in that folder.
  3. Open your DAW then open Electra.
  4. Click on the browse button.
  5. Now you can use the sounds.

How to install a VST plugin on Windows:

  1. Download the VST to your computer.
  2. Unzip the VST folder.
  3. Copy the .dll file to your vstplugin folder. This folder may be named differently for you.
  4. Rescan your plugin directory in your music software.
  5. Done!

How to install a AU plugin on Mac:

  1. Download the VST to your computer.
  2. Unzip the VST Folder.
  3. Copy & Paste “NAME.vst” file to Library // Audio // Plug-Ins // VST
  4. Copy & Paste “NAME.components” file to Library // Audio // Plug-Ins // Components
  5. Rescan your plugin directory in your music software.
  6. Done!
