Troubleshooting
Plugin Not Showing in DAW:
Ensure your DAW has scanned for new plugins. If it still doesn’t show up, quit and reopen your DAW.
Clipping or Weird Pop on Some 808s:
This is a known issue due to the plugin being a rompler—it uses wav samples, which get cut off when triggering a new note, sometimes causing a slight clip or pop. To minimize this, use the lowpass filter or an external eq to roll off high-end frequencies.
Please note: Basshead is a VST instrument designed to generate 808 and bass sounds via MIDI input; it does not process or alter incoming audio.
